The Two Polarities at a Glance
1 min read
The two polarities group the twelve signs into positive, which tends to express outward, and negative, which tends to receive and build inward. These names describe the direction of energy, not biological sex, and neither group is better. A chart usually uses both outward expression and inward reception.
Polarity Groups
| Polarity | Six signs | Elements | Link |
|---|---|---|---|
| Positive: outward, expressive, active | Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius | Fire, air | Positive signs |
| Negative: inward, receptive, accumulative | Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces | Earth, water | Negative signs |
