Venus square Neptune: Reality and desire cross the line

While the enjoyment was going on, the script in my mind wanted to insert another scene - Venus square Neptune pulled Venus’s pleasure and Neptune’s desire into a 90-degree right angle, and what was in front of me and what was built inside crossed the line with each other.
The core of Venus square Neptune: one sentence version
square is a 90-degree built-in friction: what you want and what you get often don’t match up. When you like something, there is always a more perfect shadow next to it. What this friction forces you to distinguish is not who is right or wrong, but which part belongs to the real relationship and which part belongs to your own script - if you cannot separate, the disappointment will be recorded on the other party or reality.
What do the two planets want?
Venus wants the embodiment of pleasure: a delicious meal, someone to care about, and tactile comfort. What Neptune wants is to ascend to a purer state again and again: love without noise, beauty without flaws. Square allows two things to be squeezed into the same decision at the same time: you want to enjoy what is in front of you, but you can’t help but measure the weight of what is in front of you with your inner thoughts. The result of the measurement is often “a little bit different”; in fact, the difference is in the writing of the script.
The feeling of hard aspect: three specific scenes
- When you encounter the first gap in getting along, your instinct is often to check “whether you fell in love with the wrong person” instead of checking what the two parties promised in the first place.
- The pleasant and hassle-free way of flowering in your imagination is often different from the version on the bill.
- The works, idols and objects you admire often find flaws after getting deeper into them, so your love always comes and goes quickly.
Immature version and mature version
The immature version lets the script take control: constantly measuring reality with the ruler of desire, grinding it down until both of them feel it is not good enough; or conversely denying desire, leaving only a reality that cannot squeeze out passion. The mature version turns friction into a revision process - the objects you like and the days you enjoy are left alone, but “what I want it to be like” is written down as a list of checkable items, so that you can distinguish which is the bottom line and which is just a filter; the thrust of square is used to polish skills and relationships, and instead produce attractive results.
Orb and priority: 90 degrees, natal convention within 6 degrees
natal’s orb captures 6 degrees in the square box. First check with the actual angle between the two stars, and then arrange the interpretation order. When interpreting, first look at the entire main axis, and then ask which script this right angle urges you to revise.
Cheat sheet: Six aspects of Venus and Neptune
Except for the right angle, the remaining five squares are summarized in the table below.
| aspect | angle and natalorb | one sentence |
|---|---|---|
| conjunction | Within 0 degrees, 7 degrees | Like to add the desired filter |
| opposition | 180 degrees, within 7 degrees | Desire and possession are at each end |
| trine | 120 degrees, within 6 degrees | Beauty and desire are undefended |
| square (this page) | 90 degrees, within 6 degrees | Reality and desire cross the line |
| sextile | 60 degrees, within 4 degrees | Want to wait for a starting move |
| quincunx | 150 degrees, not marked | Enjoyment is half a step away from long view |
The feeling of difference in square is mostly the admission fee, not the verdict: The myth of hard aspect takes apart “hard aspect is bad luck” and looks at the quick check of six VenusNeptune distances in Planet aspect index.
