Venus quincunx Mars: those who want and those who can move have their own paths.

Those who like it don’t make any move, and those who can move can’t be considered as sincere likes: When Venus and Mars become quincunx, Venus’s preference and Mars’s thrust are 150 degrees apart, and there is no ready-made path in between.
Those who like it don’t make any move, and those who can move can’t be considered as sincere likes: When Venus and Mars become quincunx, Venus’s preference and Mars’s thrust are 150 degrees apart, and there is no ready-made path in between.
Venus and Mars become the core of quincunx: one sentence version
quincunx (also known as five-twelfths, see quincunx for definition and usage) belongs to the minor aspect family: the signs at the two ends usually have different elements and different modes, and the things you like and the things your body wants to move are often half a square apart. What is difficult is not conflict but misalignment - those who want it may not be willing to take action, and those who do are not able to feed their preferences. It takes a period of fine-tuning to slowly connect the two sides.
What do the two planets want?
Venus cares about pleasing and taste: what looks good, what is worthy of love, and how to maintain the temperature of the relationship. Mars cares about pushing forward and attacking: he will fight for what he can get in front of him. quincunx allows these two sets of frequencies to go their own way: you spend a lot of money to arrange a happy daily routine, but after you finish the work, you feel that you missed it; you did something that you were motivated to do, but afterwards it didn’t match up with your wish list. Your job is two-way translation - to arrange an executable exit for your preferences, and to arrange a landing point for your actions to get your preferences.
The feeling of minor aspect: three specific scenes
- The schedule is filled up for “love”, but after finishing it, it is empty - the movement is moving, but the pleasure has not kept up.
- At the moment of Ascendant desire, you can’t tell what the object you want is: you want to move it, but you don’t know where to move it.
- The collection I bought is useless when I put it away. When I actually use it, I wonder why I bought it in the first place.
Immature version and mature version
Immature quincunx gives up wiring: preferences and actions are different, and the misalignment accumulates into “I don’t seem to know what I want.” The mature version takes every mismatch as a correction signal - change the time period, change the gameplay, change the combination, and keep the awkwardness as an experimental record; try out a few combinations that really fit together. There is a path between preference and push, and it is cultivated by yourself.
Orb and priority: 150 degrees, natal convention within 0 degrees
The natal chart of astro.how does not mark quincunx: 0 degree orb is the default of this site. Not all astrological conventions adhere to it so tightly. Some astrologers are willing to put it to two or three degrees. To check whether this is true, you have to compare the degrees of Venus and Mars to see if they fall within 150 degrees. In terms of ranking, it is ranked after the main aspect - read the main aspects of the two planets first. This dislocation is used to illustrate the remaining unhappiness outside the main line.

The main aspect should be read first and then come back to handle fine-tuning. If you want to follow the process, go to aspect courses.
